Ruth Younger

Tichina Arnold

        When Ruth Younger says, "I say hurry up, Travis! You ain't the only person in the world got to use a bathroom!", she definitely reminds me of Tichina Arnold. I think Tichina Arnold would be perfect to play Ruth's character because she is both an excellent house wife and worker in the show "Everybody Hates Chris." Furthermore, she is nice but agressive when she needs to be. When Ruth becomes agressive she reminds me of Ticina Arnold's chanracter in "Everybody Hates Chris." This is because her character in that show is very threatening towards her children. They are similar in my eyes when Ruth says something like, "You better get up from there, man!" and Tichina Arnold's character says something like "I will knock you into last night!" Both characters are young, pretty woman who are trying to hold the house together.
