Bobo

Lance Gross
Lance Gross is a great actor to play Bobo's character in the play,"A Raisin In The Sun." This is because both of these men are goal oriented. In the show "Tyler Perry's House of Payne," Lance Gross's character looks for ways to make money and is willing to try something new, just like Bobo. Furthermore, they take great risks to attempt to achieve what they want in their life. When Bobo says, "Could I please get a drink of water, before I tell you about it, Walter Lee?," he reminds me of Lance Gross's character. The character that Lance Gross plays is always getting into some sort of trouble. The hardest part is when he has to talk to someone about it because he knows he will be in greater trouble. So when Bobo had trouble telling Walter Lee that "the man" ran away with their money, he seemed similar to Lance Gross's character.

Karl Lindner

                                                Jon Cryer
Jon Cryer is the perfect actor to play Karl Lindner's part in the play, "A Raisin In The Sun." Both men are similar to each other in that they are both quiet-looking men. Also, they both seem  of middle class and dress the part too. In the play Karl Lindner says, "...go around and see the new people who move into the neighborhood and sort of give them the lowdown on the way we do things out in Clybourne Park." This statement reminds me a lot of Jon Cryer's character in the show, "Two And A Half Men." Jon Cryer is uptight just like Karl Lindner and they are both afraid of a new change. Furthermore, both men seem to appreciate a routine and do not react well when it is challenged.

George Murchison

Blair Underwood
The perfect actor to play George Murchison's actor is Blair Underwood. This is because both are young gentle men and do not know how to be themselves. The fact that they have money makes them act as if they own the world. In the play, "A Raisin In The Sun," George says, "Look honey, we're going to the theater- we're not going to be in it ... so go change, huh?"This statement reveals that he is embarrassed of Beneatha's natural look. This is similar to Blair Underwood's character in the movie, "Maddea's Family Reunion." His character in the movie was very embarrassed of his fiance and he had specific standards for her, just like George Murchison.

Joseph Asagai

Jaleel White
An actor who can play Joseph Asagai's character in the play,"A Raisin In The Sun," is Jaleel White. Jaleel White's character in the show "Family Matters," is very similar to that of Joseph Asaigi's. Both are young men who are very sophisticated. They know what they are talking about and are very proud and honored by normal and natural things. Furthermore, Jaleel White is perfect for Joseph Asagai's character because he knows how to treat a lady and make her happy. He does not judge others based on their money nor does he think that it determines who has class and who does not.

Walter Lee Younger

Terry Crews
The character that Terry Crews plays in the show "Everybody Hates Chris," reminds me of Walter Lee Younger's character. The two appear very similar when Walter Lee Younger says, "...Running and racing to work... ." Walter's mind is always revolving around money and work. All he really wants is to make a decent living for his family and mayeb push up his social status. He is tired of living low class and wants to ahead for once in his life. This is just like Terry Crews character in "Everybody Hates Chris," because he works two jobs and they still seem not to get too much ahead. All he talks about are ways to save money and possible eays ways to make it, just like Walter Lee Younger

Travis Younger

                                                          Tequan Richmond
Tequan Richmond would be a perfect fit to play Travis Younger's character. This is because in the show "Everybody Hates Chris," he is a young boy who gets excited about money. When Travis Younger says, "Could I maybe go carry some groceries in front of the supermarket for alittle while after school then?," he reminds me of Tequan Richmond's character. They both talk a lot about money and sure know about to get it one way or another. Travis wanted fifty cent for school so he kept nagging till he finally got it from his father. This is similar to when a neighbor owed Tequans character some money, he kept harssing him everyday through the night till he got his money back. Both characters are very well disciplined and respectful. They follow orders for the most part and liek to have fun.

Beneatha Younger

Tia Mowry

Tia Mowry would be a perfect fit to play Beneatha Younger's role. This is because her character from "The Game"is very similar to that of Beneatha's. They are both young women, slim and pretty. They are also both educated and studying to become doctors. When Beneatha Younger says, "I have never asked anyone around here to do anything for me!," she reminds me of Tia Mowry's character in the show "The Game." They both like to think of themselves as independent but in reality they both need their families. These two women not only need their families for courage and emotional support, they need their families for financial assistance towards their tuition.
